After a long wait the photos of Neha, a Delhi model are finally out. She has been chosen by director Puri Jagannath to star opposite megastar Chrianjeevi's son Ram Charan Tej. The unit is currently in Bangkok foe shooting some important scenes from the movie. Currently a song is being picturised on Ram Charan Tej and Neha.
Reports say that Ram Charan Tej is looking like a real hero. He is also reportedly quite at ease before the camera. The unit will wind up the present schedule and return on April 28. C Aswini Dut is producing the movie on the Vyjayanthi Movies banner.
2007/9/27 18:27:46 The entire state is in the grip of Chirutha fever. Reports from all over the state show that Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan fans are going all out to make Chirutha a big hit. Charan Tej’s debut film is opening with as many as 45 theaters in Hyderabad alone. Many cutouts and hoarding have been put up everywhere. The fans took out huge car rallies, while some went on padayatras. And at many places, the and even conducted puja as well as all religion prayers. The fans vowed that they would make Chirutha the biggest hit of all times. The fans seem determined to make Chirutha run for a minimum of 365 days in the state. It is now just a matter of a few hours before the film opens to the public on a grand scale. A special preview has been arranged for select gathering at Prasads at 10.30 pm today.
2007/9/28 17:29:21 Chirutha hit the theaters across the state today. Ram Charan’s debut film is directed by Puri Jagannath and produced by Ashwini Dutt. However there was some resentment at many places over the release of Chirutha. The Reason? To accommodate Chirutha, many theatres had to replace Jr.NTR’s Yamadonga.
NTR fans are not at all happy with this. While they have nothing against Ram Charan, the theater management’s decision to remove Yamadonga has not gone down well with them. They fell that the film hitting the 50-day mark is still going strong and is well poised to touch the 100-day mark. So they want the film to run undisturbed.
2008/2/11 16:47:24 Ram Charan made his debut in films with 'Chirutha'. He has been fondly called as Chirutha ever since. Puri Jagannath directed the film. Ram Charan is now acting in his second film directed by SS Rajamouli. Kajal Agarwal is the heroine.
The film has been tentatively titled as 'Dheerudu'. Many feel that the title is very appropriate and also sounds good. The film is expected to establish Ram Charan firmly as a young and successful hero in Tollywood.
The talk doing the rounds in the industry is about the story of Chirutha. The story is said to be about two warring gangs in Hyderabad. The heroine is the sister of one of the gangsters – Jagapathi Babu. The hero gets caught in the gang war and how he comes out and wins the heart of his ladylove forms the basis of the story.
The story if true means that there would not be much novel about the film. Many films with similar have hit the screen before. The recent films on similar themes are Pokiri and Dhee. The only difference if any is that in Chirutha, the hero does not work for any gang as per the leaked story. In other films, the hero is shown as working for one of the two gangsters.
The most-awaited film of the year – Chirutha with Ram Charan Tej in the lead is progressing briskly and is right on course for release on September 22 release.
The unit is presently in Hyderabad and is going into its fresh schedule from today. The team will later fly off to Australia to shoot the remaining part of the film. Puri Jagannath is the director and Neha Sharma a Delhi based model plays the heroine.
The audio will be released on August 22 to coincide with the birthday of megastar Chiranjeevi.
Chiranjeevi is taking a lot care in the debut film of his son Ram Charan Tej. So much so that he is even reported to have postponed the release of his film Shankar Dada Zindabad by a few months.
‘Chirutha’ is slated for release on August 22 which happens to be the birthday of Chiranjeevi. Shankar Dada Zindabad will now be released after about 100 days after the release of ‘Chirutha’. Which means SDZ is not likely to hit the screen before October.
The tickets for Charan Tej’s movie Chirutha were sold out in the first hour of opening. Fans lapped up the tickets for the first three days - Friday, Saturday and Sunday in just less than an hour.
The expectations on the film are very high. Puri Jagannath has toiled hard and Chirutha is expected to recover its investment in the first two weeks. Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan fans are sure to see that the film opens to a thundering response. With hardly 48 hours to go for opening, papa Chiranjeevi is naturally a little bit tense.
The much-awaited birthday of megastar Chiranjeevi and the audio release function of Chirutha were planned in a big way. But all this has now come to a nought. The reason is that Chiranjeevi has gone to London on a holiday and he would not be back in the city before September 4.
This comes a a huge disappointment to all his fans. It is however being said that Chiranjeevi has gone to London so that he can avoid unnecessary hype over Chirutha. He doesn’t want to heighten the audiences’ expectations unduly. So he is said to have asked the producer to release the audio into the market directly without organizing any function.
Chiranjeevi worried over negative talk about Chirutha
There are many reports coming out on a daily basis on Charan Tej’s debut film Chirutha. All this is said to have made papa Chiranjeevi a much-worried man. First, the talk was about the re-shooting of some scenes. And later, it was about the news that the film was a remake of some German film and that the story was not original. After that came news about the trailers. Chiru was not pleased and he had asked them to stop airing them. And now, reports say that even the posters for Chirutha are not good. Even the posters are said to have been copied from a film starring Kevin Costner. And to add to these woes, the film’s release has been postponed several times. This has only added credence to the rumours. But the truth about all the issues will come out finally on September 28, when Chirhtha finally hits the screen.
Don't jump to any conclusions by reading the headline. We are not talking about the name of the soon to be launched political party of Chiranjeevi.
The 'party' in question is actually a gala party to celebrate the success of the film 'Chirutha'.
Chiranjeevi arranged a grand party the other day at Hitex grounds in Hyderabad. The party was to celebrate the huge success of son Ram Charan's debut film 'Chirutha'. Only close members of the family and a few friends were invited to the party. The media was not invited nor were they informed about it. The news came out only after the party was over.
2007/11/15 13:18:05 The Ram Charan starrer Chirutha has completed the 50 days run successfully. The film has completed the 50 days run at 162 centres in the state. Puri Jagannath directed the film and Ashwini Dutt is the producer. A Delhi based model Neha Sharma played the female lead opposite Ram Charan in the film.
2008/2/1 18:50:21 After Chiranjeevi, the media has now turned its attention to Ram Charan, son of megastar Chiranjeevi. A mischievous SMS has been doing the rounds in Hyderabad the whole of today. The SMS says that Ram Charan married his heroine in Chirutha, Neha Sharma. This was big news for some private TV channels like TV9 and NTV and they went to town over it.
Neha Sharma is already going steady with a guy from Delhi. He even accompanied Neha to the shooting of Chirutha at Bangkok. Many people feel that the SMS is definitely a handiwork of some elements opposed to Chiranjeevi.
From the day Chiranjeevi gave a hint that he was toying with the idea of entering politics, he has been the target of some malicious gossip and targeted in many other ways. The latest rumour was one more attempt to tarnish Chiranjeevi's image. The SMS comes just a couple of days after some fans attacked Rajashekar.
Ram Charan has now come out in the open and clarified that there was no truth in the rumours. He made a statement to this effect on TV. Ram Charan is a clam and reserved person and this is the first time that he has been dragged into a controversy. All this only to malign Chiranjeevi in every possible way.
Is Neha Sharma, the heroine of Chirutha, better suited as an item girl? Yes, says Ram Charan. In a scene where the heroine is asked to sing a song, she goes into a dream sequence and plays a peppy number “ Maro… Maro… Maro…”.
And Ram Charan comments to her, may be half in jest but nevertheless it goes like this – “Nice dance baby, may be you should try for item numbers in films. You can even give Mumaith Khan a run for her money”.
The question is, is it what the director thinks about the heroine or is it simply a situation-based dialogue?
The most eligible bachelor in town, Ram Charan, son of megastar Chiranjeevi is now busy with work on his second film. The film is directed by SS Rajamouli. The unit is now in Rajasthan as part of the first schedule.
It is understood that Ram Charan is likely to marry a girl from Anantapur. The details about the girl are not known but she is now studying first year engineering. Her father Ashok is a very rich and influential businessman from the region with interests ranging from IT to hotels.
It may be recalled here that a big rumour was floated by someone recently that Ram Charan had married Neha Sharma secretly in Goa. Neha was his heroine in his debut film Chirutha. There was no truth in the rumour and Ram Charan himself appeared before the media and laughed it off as a prank pulled on the media by some mischievous guy.
Government officials monitor Chirutha ticket sales!
Believe it or not. We have heard about government officials taking part in poll duty and other duties during calamities like floods and earthquakes. But perhaps for the first time in the history of cinema, government officials are now doing duty for Chirutha.
The revenue officials have been asked to monitor the sale of Chirutha tickets at several places in Andhra like Rajamundry, Gudivada, Machilipatnam etc. The move comes following complaints by Chiru fans that the theatre managements are selling the tickets in black. So revenue officials will now sit along with the booking clerk at the ticket counters and monitor the sale of tickets.
The news doing the rounds in film circles is about the release date of Mahesh Babu starrer Athidhi. The film has raised the expectations of the people after the stupendous success of Pokiri.
No official communication has been made so far but unconfirmed news reports suggest that Athidhi is likely to be released on October 18. And some people are saying that there is some pressure on Mahesh Babu to postpone the release of his film by a few weeks.
The reason? Ram Charan’s film Chirutha hit the screen on September 28. And if Athidhi releases on October 18, then Chirutha will have to make way for Athidhi in some theatres, just as Chirutha replaced Yamadonga. So will Mahesh Babu oblige Ram Charan? Wait and watch.
The release of Ram Charan Tej’s debut film Chirutha has been postponed once again. The film is now likely to hit the screen on October 1.
The reason for this is not exactly known, but gossip from film nagar says that Chiranjeevi is not completely satisfied with the film. Some scenes have been re-shot. Chiranjeeevi is also reportedly keen to look after the publicity for the film personally.
So he is not expected for some more days, the film has been postponed. The trailers are ready but Chiru has to okay them before they can be released.
The much talked about film in recent times is Charan Tej’s Chirutha. The film is finally hitting the screen on September. And it has less than 10 days to go for release. But o far, the trailer of the film has not yet been released.
It is understood that Chiranjeevi is not happy with the earlier trailer of the movie that was made and stopped its release. Now he is said to be personally supervising the work on the trailer.
The special premiere show of Chirutha was held at IMX at 11 p.m. last night. The who’s who of the industry attended the premiere and blessed Charan Tej on his debut in films.
The family of Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalayn, Dasari, Raghavedra Rao, Kodanda Rami Reddy, Victroy Venkatesh, Puri, Vikram, Radhika, Surya, Sarath Kumar and others watched the movie and wished Charan Tej a bright future.
What’s common between Chiru, Allu Arjun and Ram Charan Tej?
Well Chiranjeevi, Allu Arjun and Ram Charan Tej are all related. And they all happen to be actors. But the commonality between them doesn’t end here. It has now stretched to their films as well. It is well known that papa Chiranjeevi and Poori Jagannath went to great lengths to find the right face to pair with debutant Ram Charan Tej for ‘Chirutha’.
After scanning thousands of photos, they zeroed in on a Delhi base model to play the lead role in ‘Chirutha’ opposite Ram Charan Tej. Then papa Chiranjeevi set aside established heroines and began a search for a suitable fresh face to star opposite him in Shankar Dada Zindabad. And he finally settled for a new face a model named Karishma Kotak. Now Allu Arjun is in a similar situation.
He is set to act in a new film to be produced by Dil Raju and directed by Bhaskar. But he is waiting for the right face to star with him. He is reportedly hunting for a new face in Mumbai and elsewhere. Once the heroine is finalized he will commence shooting for the film.

Informative, but not convincing. Something is missing but what I can not understand. But I will say frankly: bright and benevolent thoughts!...
