Never insulted Assembly, Privilege Motion moves will fail: Lagadapati
2011/6/29 10:15:50 Denying that he had made any comments which could insult the established democratic norms, Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal on Wednesday expressed confidence that the moves to bring a Privilege Motion against him by elected representatives from Telangana would not hold water.
Talking to media persons here on Wednesday, Mr Rajagopal, in his own imitable style, expressed incredulity that the Telangana Legislators were attempting to bring a Privilege Motion against him, ‘without any basis.’
Clarifying on his remarks on the deletion of Clause 14 F of the Presidential Order of 1975, the Vijayawada MP said that he had only said that the Centre would not agree to deletion of the controversial Clause since the resolution passed by the Andhra Pradesh State Assembly was not on proper voting pattern.
It may be mentioned here that in essence, Mr Rajagopal’s argument is flawed since voting is not necessary every time any Bill, Motion or Resolution is adopted by the House. The House had passed the resolution with near unanimity.
The Vijayawada MP further said that the Police Department has been exempted from the zonal system and Hyderabad has been included in the Free Zone so that law and order could be maintained in the city.
He added, “I have never made any harsh comments insulting the established democratic norms.”
Mr Rajagopal further said that the Centre would take the final decision on the resolution seeking deletion of the controversial Clause.
The Vijayawada MP further said that the state Assembly was yet to pass a resolution on Telangana statehood. “The AP Assembly has not passed any resolution on Telangana statehood so far,” Mr Rajagopal pointed out.
The MP added that in the event of division of the state, certain parameters would have to be followed and bifurcation should have to be done on scientific basis.
Stating that Centre never promised Telangana on December 9, 2009 when Union Home Minister P Chidambaram had made his famous statement, Mr Rajagopal said Centre stated that it would take appropriate decision on statehood issue at an appropriate time.
Stating that he never objected to any resolution on Telangana, the Vijayawada MP said the Congress was unwilling to form a separate state. “If a resolution on Telangana is introduced in the House, about 225 members will oppose it,” Mr Rajagopal said.(INN)
Deepika, Katrina in line for Aamir’s ‘Delhi Belly’ item number!
A Bollywood film today can’t just do without a sizzling hot ‘item number’. With songs like ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’, ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’ and ‘Dum Maro Dum’ making it to the top chartbusters, having a hot babe do the dazzling moves has become a must. And our very own “Mr Perfectionist” Aamir Khan is on the look out for a hottie to do the needful for his latest Imran Khan starrer ‘Delhi Belly’.
Reportedly, Aamir is wondering who he should zero in on as he has three names in his mind- Deepika Padukone, Mallika Sherawat and Katrina Kaif.
Talking to a daily, a source said, "Aamir is busy looking for the perfect item girl to pep up his film. One knows how he gets when it comes to casting and again his perfectionist streak is at play. `Delhi Belly` will be the first bold movie from his production house, which will have some really intimate and explicit scenes. This is why Aamir felt the need to have an item song."
Considering ‘Delhi Belly’ is going to be a scorcher of sorts, we may well wonder what the item song will have in store for us. It might better “Sheila’s jawani” and Dip’s ravishing moves in DMD.
"Let`s see who lands the role. If Kat wins over Dippy or vice-versa then again people will draw parallels on how Ranbir Kapoor`s one ex-girlfriend beat the other!, “ added the source.

Ever since, NTR was died she has been staying in his house and claims the legal rights of the house. She tried to negotiate with NTR clan in this regard, but they didn’t respond positively.
She even has approached Human Rights Commission at Hyderabad and obtained a declaration from it, which certified her as the legal wife of late NTR. However, the High Court order comes as a big shock to her, which has ordered her to vacate the house within 4months. Hence, she has three options before her. 1. Vacate the house; 2.Pleading NTR clan to let her stay in the house; 3. Knock the Supreme Court doors.
She might play the emotional card to glue to house or knock the Supreme Court doors, but certainly do not plead them.

2011/11/17 11:26:23 Once again Income Tax Officials have raided Tollywood beauty Anushka's house at Hyderabad on Wednesday. It came to know they have recovered huge amount of cash, property documents, Gold ornaments etc from her house. During the last year also IT Officials have raided her house and found unaccounted money, gold and properties linked with actor Nagarjuna. Later, she flees away to her home town Bangalore to avert media attention and returned only after the dust settles.
It is surprising why the IT Officials are concentrating on her alone, where as there are many big heroes and heroines in the film industry are earning much more than what she is earning. Anushka is not available to comment on the raids.
