The latest innovation on the action front is about ten-minutes of animation action in Cash, a la Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill featuring Zayed Khan, Shamita Shetty, Riteish Deshmukh, Esha Deol and Ajay Devgan.
Explains director Anubhav Sinha, "We've worked very hard on the action scenes of Cash. And I'd really not like them to be compared with Dhoom or even my own Dus. But yes, what we've done in Cash is unique. For the first time we've juxtaposed live action with animation action. As we see the characters fighting they turn into animation characters on screen."
Anubhav goes to great pains to explain the animation isn't of the kind we've seen in Hum Tum or Ta Ra Rum Pum. "It's more like what happens in Tarantino's Kill Bill. Action in our cinema has to by its very nature get better. Today audiences are watching Spiderman 3 in Bhojpuri. We can't afford to lag behind."

Filmmaker Govind Nihalani, who has directed some cult films like Dev, Droh Kaal and Ardh Satya, is taking a U-turn to make a feel-good animation film.
Govind says that his love for animation films began when he first leafed through the pages of Tarzan and Mandrake comic books during his childhood.
“I was fascinated as a child to read those Mandrake and Tarzan series. I read it religiously and I think my love for animation and comics dates back to those days,” he said, adding, “Many people don’t know this but I actually have a great collection of comic books from across the world.”
One of Govind’s all time favourite book is Sin City and he loves Alan Moore’s works (Alan is an English writer most famous for his influential works in comics like Watchmen, V for Vendetta and From Hell).
Ok, but why does a serious filmmaker like Govind dabbling with animation? “As a filmmaker, it is very important to always experiment, always challenge oneself,” he said. “Then working becomes good fun and you enjoy what you are doing. Doing the same thing does not only limit your creativity but is also very tiring.”
The director is not ready to share the production details of Kamlu (the name of his animation film) except for the fact that it is in the pre-production stages.
“We are storyboarding. Even the dialogues are being worked upon and we are in the process of finalising the cast for the voice over. I expect to have some big names in my project,” he confirmed.
And what’s the storyline of the film? “It is the story of a baby camel and his friends. It is too early to let go of the story but it is a nice feel-good animation which sends out a message. I believe every animation film should send out a positive message.”

There are no songs in the film, so we are planning to release the audio with powerful dialogues in the film on November 3. Presently DTS mixing is in progress and the film would hit the screen in the second week of November. This is my first venture as producer and I wish the film would earn me, my banner and the buyers a good name, besides becoming a big commercial success.

Prithivraj started his career with the Malayalam film, Nandanam and later moved to Kollywood. In a very short span of time he has become one of the favourite actors in both Malayalam and Tamil.
2007 has been a good year for the actor, whose first Tamil release this year was the blockbuster film Mozhi, followed by the hit films Sathum Podaathey and Kannaamoachi Enaada. His Malayalam film, Chocolate released this Ramzan was another big success. Kangaroo is his next Malayalam release portraying him as an auto driver.

However, Spielberg has completed his dream project recently and his animation movie is releasing before end of October or first week of November.
