Produced by P B Babu and directed by Malan, the film features Senthil in the role of a tribesman. Meena says, "I am surprised by reports that I am playing Senthil's heroine in the movie. I am not playing Senthil's heroine".
Meena was a busy heroine in Tamil and Telugu filmdom a few years ago. She had acted opposite prominent heroes including Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Ajith, Vijayakanth, Sarath Kumar etc.
The doe-eyed Tamil beauty Meena is going from strength to strength, ironically, away from home.
In a second coming of sorts, Meena is having a gala time in Mollywood, according to the buzz.
The latest film that featured Meena was ‘Karutha Pakshikal’ in which megastar Mammootty was her hero.
The film has won critical acclaim apart from a few awards. And needless to say, Meena has benefited from the success it has enjoyed.

The answer to that question lies in the womb of time.
Meanwhile, Meena continues to cast her magic on Mollywood!
Having made her debut in ‘En Raasaavin Manasile,’ Meena has acted with all top actors like Rajini, Kamal, Ajith, Karthik and was the dream girl for quite a few years.
Once acting offers got rare, she switched to television serials and started acting in ‘Lakshmi.’
Meena is the only child for her parents. Once she got to marriageable age, her parents started looking out for her, but nothing clicked. Meena has built a palatial house in Saidapet and her parents wanted a bridegroom who would stay with them, and that is one reason why nothing worked out.
When Meena continued getting older, her parents gave up the ‘veettodu maapillai’ fixation and finally found a suitable match for her in Malaysia. The lucky man who’s to wed Meena is an industrialist.
The groom’s family has given her the go ahead to continue working in serials. So, in her happiness, Meena and her parents are trying to fix a suitable date for the wedding.
