I am confident that this would remain the best film in my career. All kinds of elements including sentiment, comedy, performance by the artistes, songs, what not – everything were perfectly matched. I am also sure that the film would be a musical hit and they would remain a highlight of the movie.
All the songs are situation oriented with good literary values. We shot the songs in Rajahmundry and Kashmir. There is a good response to the audio as well.' Producer Narasimha Rao says, 'Bhagyaraja gave a fantastic story and EVV moulded it on the celluloid in a memorable way. We are sure that the film would attract all classes of audiences.
Many heroines after a long stint in Tollywood quit the scene after they tie the knot. But for some it is only for a short period. Simran is one example. But for others it is a second innings, which is both rewarding and satisfying.
They turn to the small screen and are making a mark with their experience and talent. Raadhika is the first in the genre. Then comes Ramya Krishna, Raasi, Laya etc. While Raadhika has set up her own production house Raadan TV, the others are content at hosting game shows.
Ramya Krishna emboldened by the success of the game shows has now set up her own production and is hosting a show every Sunday on a private TV channel. The show invites one top Tollywood actor to the studio and participants get to talk to the actor. The participants also get a chance to win fabulous prizes.
So don’t be surprised if big stars start making a beeline to the small screen. But what is surprising is that only heroines are entering the small screen, so far no hero worth the name has opted to take this route.
