Ram Charan is all charged up and raring to go for his next film. The film has been titled as 'Dheerudu'. SS Rajamouli, who has six hit films behind him in a row, is directing this film. The rising young star Kajal Agarwal is the heroine.
Ram Chran has been spending the past few months building up his body and toning up his muscled for the role. Ram Charan will be seen sporting a six-pack body in this film. He has also been learning horse riding for quite some time.
Rajamouli says that Ram Charan's character will be pucca mass. The film has been set with a Rajasthan backdrop and the first schedule will be pretty long, stretching almost to about a month.
Prince Mahesh Babu has never taken off his shirt or revealed his body much in any film. Heroes like Allu Arjun and Ram Charan have shown their well toned muscles in their films. Even Gopichand showed off his muscles in films like Lakshyam and Ontari.
For the first time, Mahesh Babu will remove his shirt and show off his muscles, that too his six pack abs. He will do that in the Trivikram Srinivas directed film titeld ‘Varudu’. The film will go on to the sets in April. His fans will naturally go delirious over this. It would be interesting to see how his female fans would react to the ‘muscles show’ by the Prince.
Now that Sanjay Dutt is back, he is raring to go. The first thing on his agenda is to regain his status as the original stud of Bollywood. In fact, it is believed that Munnabhai is doing all that he can to get back into action. The actor begins shooting this Wednesday for his next film, EMI.
However, the veteran has ace up his sleeve as he has enlisted the services of noted Hollywood fitness guru Mark Twight to get fighting fit. Twight is believed to have trained the warriors in the film 300 and got actor Gerard Butler, who plays the leader of the Spartans into shape.
Butler reportedly underwent months of strenuous workouts before the shooting began. Dutt is hoping that the Twight magic will work for him as well. By the end of February, Twight will be flying down from LA and start his work on Dutt. The actor is absolutely confident that very soon he will again have a body that will be the envy of Bollywood. Dutt says that within six months he will sport an eight-pack. Apparently, eight-pack abs is common in the West but not so in India as yet.
The actor says that one need's to push one's body to get there and it is possible. Be that as it may, Sanju is well aware that he is an actor and not a bodybuilder and knows that just sporting a six-pack or an eight-pack is not going to guarantee success at the box office.
He says that he is not looking to set any trend or such but just wants to see how much he can push his body. The actor, who has been inspired by the likes of Al Pacino and Slyvester Stallone, is determined to bounce back.

2008/3/27 14:55:45 Ram Charan is celebrating his birthday today. Father Chiranjeevi is a proud man today and rightly so. Ram Charan has come out of his father’s shadow and proved himself as a talented hero with his very first film Chirutha.
Chiranjeevi says that Ram Charan was a much disciplined boy even as a child. He has very high regard and respect towards elders. He is always courteous and respectful towards everyone. Chiranjeevi said that Ram Charan is now a true reflection of his own personality.
Ram Charan as conducted himself with great poise and dignity in private as well as public. He has made his father keep his head up with his behavior. Chiranjeevi went through a lot of turmoil in the last one year and Ram Charan was a great strength of support al through the period. By his exemplary conduct, Ram Charan has set an example which many would do well to follow. Any father would be proud to have a son like Ram Charan.
He’s one cool rock star. He’s also the original six-pack guy. He began to take his shirt off and flaunt his washboard abs long before Dard-e-Disco made it fashionable all over again.
So, it’s no surprise when Salman Khan disdainfully trashes the current six-pack fad with, “Even a malnourished person or a mazdoor can have a six-pack. What is important is to have a good muscular body and then move on to get a six-pack! And a stronger mind is more important than a strong body. Training the mind is a lifelong pursuit and without a strong mind, you’ll lack the willpower to get a strong body.”
And it is this ‘strong’ body that women swoon over that one will get to see in Atul Agnihotri’s film Hello based on Chetan Bhagat’s book One Night @ The Call Centre . Yup. Salman’s given his shirt a miss for the dance number Party Like a Rockstar in the film. Says Chetan, “Salman’s playing himself in the film — an actor who is touring various places as a part of a concert series. This was a six days’ shooting schedule in Karjat and Salman stayed up and so did Katrina (who also makes an appearance in the film) to finish their scenes.”
But, what we really want to know is how does Salman manage to stay fit as a fiddle even as he’s on the other side of 40? And how does one find the time amidst today’s hectic lifestyle to gym it up? “I work 18 hours a day and can still find the time to hit the gym. It’s time management,” he says.
And how does it feel when people ooh and aah over his bare torso? “I feel like a tiger in a cage at the zoo. Every child who passes that cage tells his mother, ‘I want to look at the tiger, Mom’. But I also know that the day this fascination is over, it’s all really over then. So, I’m thankful that I’m in this zoo-cage-tiger situation,” says Salman.
But doesn’t he ever feel like relaxing, giving the gym a miss? “I work in a visual medium, I have to keep looking good. And I have to look as good as my fans want me to,” is Salman’s reply. Since his fitness level is several notches higher than most of his friends, does he ever encourage them to get fitter? “I keep telling them to stay fit. Sometimes they listen to me, at times they don’t. But the problem is that I love them as they are and they know that. I can’t be as strict with them as I am with myself,” says the actor.
2011/5/18 15:47:53 Young and dynamic hero Ram Charan Tej who finally comes out of ‘Orange-lag’ will resume his work from 1st of June. Sajid Khan: If SRK has a six pack, I can get an eight pack
Sajid Khan may soon lose his funny man image. Instead he may be bestowed with the crown of a man with one of the best bodies in the business, especially in Bollywood.
Don't be shocked as the Heyy Babyy director is seriously working on his physique. So much so that he has already lost close to 20 kg in last couple of months and is aiming at reducing further flab as he looks forward to having a well toned physique in a quarter from now.
But why this sudden fascination for coming up with a new persona? Is he deciding to give himself a role in his upcoming film?
"You got it right, I have an important part to play in a film, though not mine. It is for another director and the role offered to me is that of a lead actor in a sole hero project", he says looking directly into your eye. Before you hit the panic button, Sajid breaks into a laugh and says, "Come on, I am kidding. I am not looking at facing the camera for a film. It is just that it was high time I worked on my body as well. After Heyy Babyy especially, I had put on a lot of weight. I had to get in shape pronto before my body started falling all over the place."
"The next immediate step was to get into a strict regime and follow it judiciously. I guess the effort is paying off. Shah Rukh Khan has been a great source of inspiration as well. He used to comment that I was not looking after myself at all. Once I saw him in Om Shanti Om, I said to myself - 'This is it'! It is just a matter of taking a resolve and I guess this time around, I am going all out to ensure that the resolve is not broken."
It's not just Shah Rukh Khan who is responsible for Sajid Khan's revived interest in body building (even as a 16 year old teenager, he used to work out before he left it all). Sylvester Stallone, well into his 60s, is another actor who has inspired him.
"I just saw the latest Rambo and I have to tell the world that if at all you have been a Stallone follower, go for the film now. It is men like him and Shah Rukh who make your mouth wide open. In clearly his most violent and challenging of the Rambo series, Stallone has been supremely impressive, especially in the way he has continued to work on his body. Just talking about his physique is giving me goose bumps; I am certainly going to watch the film again."
Concluding the conversation, Sajid Khan declares, "If Shah Rukh Khan can build a six pack abs, mark my words I will beat him to it and build eight pack abs."
The debate in the film circles is on the two hot heroes of the year , its none other than Allu Arjun the son of Allu Aravind and Ram Charan Teja the son of Chiranjeevi.
While Allu Arjun’s good looks and well toned body came as a surprise to everyone after the release of Desamuduru, Ram Charan Teja has also turned into a handsome young hero. Now it is to be seen if the cousins manage to grab a share of Tollywood and also throw up some friendly family rivalry in films.
2011/1/20 17:29:10 The handsome hero of Tollywood Nagarjuna is getting ready for his next movie ‘Damarukam’ a socio fantasy film. This film will be directed by Srinivasa Reddy and produced by RR Movie Makers. Luscious beauty Anushka once again will be pairing him in the female lead. The director told Nagarjuna that, he needs to flex his mussels like any young hero in the industry in some action scenes of this film. He advised him to tone his body to get a six pack on it. So, Nagarjuna has engaged a trainer for this purpose and start sweating to have six packs on him.
Blog and six-pack-abs are the latest fads in Bollywood but Abhishek Bachchan continues to remain averse to both of them.
"I will not go for six-packs. I am not doing anything to get it. I am very happy with my one-pack and I would love to hold on to it. In fact, I would like every one to go back to one-pack," said Abhishek.
Although his father Amitabh Bachchan blogs, but the young actor said he won't start blogging as he does not consider himself as punctual and dedicated as his father in maintaining it.
Amitabh's blog has, of course, drawn a lot of media attention due to his controversial remarks and satirical style of writing.
"I keep shooting outdoors and I don't think I can update it regularly, so I don't want to start it," Abhishek said.
