Well, in a recent exclusive conversation with HT, Salman, when asked to react over Aamir’s wish to see him get hitched, stated that he will certainly tie the knot and fulfill B-town Mr. Perfectionist’s wish.
However, the superstar quickly added that though he does has plans to marry, he is not sure when it’s going to happen, as the decision about when to tie the knot also depends upon his would-be bride.
Talking about his wedding plans, Sallu, as quoted in HT, said, “….I will definitely fulfill Aamir’s wish that I get married. But you have to wait for a bit now as shaadi kab hogi ye opposite party par bhi depend karta hai.”
Well, the hunk's mentioning about the “opposite party” in the interview does indicate that he has already chosen his bride, and now he is only waiting for her to decide the date for their marriage.

But unfortunately, the former ventures bombed at the box-office and now all eyes are set upon the stars upcoming movie ‘Bodyguard’.

The industry is anxiously waiting to see if Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Salman Khan will come face to face. The two are likely to attend the extravagant wedding of Mallika Reddy, daughter of socialites Pinky and Sanjay Reddy on June 10. Since Ash is invited for the marriage, the buzz is that she is likely to fly down to Hyderabad.
And Salman, who is very close to the Reddys', also plans to visit Hyderabad for the wedding. Ash has, so far, carefully avoided facing Salman to avoid nasty moments. Now, the two will inevitably come face to face and the whole of B- town is waiting to see what the outcome will be.
Zarine Khan was introduced to the Hindi Film Industry by her mentor Salman Khan in her debut film ‘Veer’. And then it was Salman who roped her for an item number ‘Character Dheela’ in his film ‘Ready’ and it is also reported that Salman’s closeness with Sajid Nadiadwala that landed her a role in ‘Houseful 2’. She has other friends and is close to all of them.
And since Friendship day is coming, the lady is busy chalking out plans with her other friends.

Salman KhanBollywood superstar Salman Khan has reportedly replaced Kareena Kapoor by Katrina Kaif for his next film. Salman's brother Sohail Khan was planning a film revolving around a wedding and he finalized his brother and Kareena for the film.
So Kareena was earlier set to play the female lead in Sohail's film My Punjabi Nikah and supposedly it was Salman who suggested Kareena's name for the film. Kareena and Salman are said to be friends and they get along quite well. They have also done a film, Kyon Ki together and although the film was a flop their pairing was appreciated.
Salman is known to also promote his friends careers and Kareena being a friend he recommended her name for the film. However, now it seems Salman has probably changed his mind and decided that Katrina should be paired opposite him in the film. So when it came to choosing between friendship and love, obviously Salman an emotional guy chose love, hands down.
So, Kareena has now been replaced with Katrina. Salman and Katrina were seen together in brother Sohail Khan's production Maine Pyar Kyon Kiya and the film too was quite a hit.
My Punjabi Nikah is centered around the theme of marriage and Sohail probably hopes that both Salman and Katrina will be inspired by his film to actually tie the knot in real life too.
When is Salman Khan getting married... is the million dollar question everyone is asking in Bollywood now a days. But the brawny actor, who has been romantically linked to several stars during his two-decade career, says he has left his plans of getting married in God's hands.
At a promotional event when asked about his marriage plans, Salman said, "Whenever He will give consent, I'll get married. Things are not in my hand. Without His will, nothing happens."
Questioned whether he was veiling some sadness by answering in such a philosophical fashion, the controversial star said, "There is nothing like that. I believe that He controls all of man's decisions. I'm also waiting for his signal."
Rumour mills were recently abuzz with the prospect of Salman finally tying the nuptial knot as Aishwarya Rai, to whom he was romantically linked at one time, has been engaged to Abhishek Bachchan.
Having spent 20 years in Bollywood in a career spanning from Biwi Ho To Aisi to Salaam-e-Ishq, Salman said he was looking forward to some of his upcoming films.
"I'll soon be doing an action film which will be a complete departure from my romantic image," he said, adding he was considering five to six scripts and would decide on them soon.
The star who was once rated among the most attractive actors in the world by Time magazine is satisfied with his career despite not being in the race for the number one slot.
He said, "I will continue to act as long as my fans want me to. Their happiness is everything for me."
Asked about the dominance of the three Khans -- Aamir, Shahrukh and himself -- in Bollywood, Salman said, "I don't think that only the Khans dominate. It's only a coincidence that all three of us came at about the same time and that we share the Khan surname".
He joked, "Stars like Hrithik, Akshay, Fardeen, Zayed and Sanjay Dutt are popular today. Salman's films are flopping." He was referring to his three previous films -- Jaaneman, Baabul and Salaam-e-Ishq - that did not fare well at the box office.
Salman's first Hollywood film Marigold, directed by Willard Carrol, is going to be released within the next three months. Asked whether he had signed any other Hollywood film, he replied, "Not as yet. Let Marigold be released first".
An avid painter, Salman also plans to hold an exhibition of his paintings.
"So far I've finished 23 paintings and I'm waiting to paint 40 before I display them. I want to paint real paintings and they become abstract paintings by the time I finish them," he quipped.
The most eligible bachelor of Bollywood Salman Khan seems to have finally decided to get married. However, no one knows if he has taken this step following the announcement of Aishwarya Rai's marriage with Abhishek Bachchan in the near future or because of his intense love with any other girl. According to recent reports, Salman has decided in favor of his latest love. And, this is the most sexy and leading star Priyanka Chopra. Since Salman is very known for changing his girlfriends like clothes. It is indeed very difficult to guess about the new girl in his life.
Though Salman has never seen so serious about his marriage as of now, yet it's difficult to believe about his recent proximity to Priyanka Chopra. All of a sudden there is a buzz that Salman is getting engaged with Priyanka. But, it's true that after being ditched by Akshay Kumar, Priyanka has come close to Salman Khan and it may lead to their marriage. Interestingly, sources close to Salman claim that the families of both the stars have given their consent to this marriage. Salman's love for Katrina Kaif hasn't ended either. In spite of this, the industry is busy in gossiping that Salman will invite Vivek Oberoi , another victim of Aish' rejection, to his marriage , but not John Abraham and Shaahid Kapoor and their respective girlfriends - Bipasha Basu and Kareena Kapoor. While Salman has reconciled the Aish-Abhishek marriage plan , Viveik Oberoi is still obsessed , and is therefore , often found suffering in agony. All his dreams have got shattered following Aish's engagement. That's why Vivek's Holi passed without usual fun in spite of his doctor's advice to forget the past and play Holi with his colleagues . And, many Bollywood colleagues did invite him to celebrate Holi with them but he is said to have dressed himself into 'Gerua' saffron clothes, a dress meant for saints occupied in meditation . Maybe, he believes that a heavenly woman like Menaka, will come to break his meditation, and win him. Industry circles wonder if Gurprit, his new love, will turn Menaka , and break his mediation and take him back to Bollywood .
Salman Khan talks about the rumours about his marriage, his Hollywood stint, wanting to do philanthropy and yes, his earrings too!
This is a new Salman Khan. A more at-peace avatar of the bad boy of Bollywood. At 42, and with rumours of marriage fast threatening to erode his eligible bachelor image, he is still ruggedly handsome. Perhaps even more than before, despite (or is it because of?) the silver earrings on both ears now. If anything, age has only given him a softer, more mellow look.
“I am fortunate,” says Salman, shrugging off all praise about the way he looks. “I have done nothing. In fact, I have done things that have damaged the way I look and feel.” Like the earrings? Salman gives his famous scowl, “ Arre , I am a Pathan, and I have to look like one. My grandfather, father and uncles wear earrings. I had my ears pierced when I was a baby.”
He is truly back in the saddle these days, and in action – doing art exhibitions, attending film premieres, going for parties. Post Marigold , he is also open to more Hollywood offers, provided they don’t make him look like an idiot! “I have a certain sense of contentment today,” he explains mysteriously. And, he is also inspired by the legendary macho star from the South, the evergreen Rajnikanth. He’s inspired by Rajnikanth’s philanthrophy, he says. “I want to do what he is doing. Whatever he earns, he gives back to the people.”
Ask him about the rumours of him getting married on his birthday around Christmas, this year, and he says with an exasperated look, “The day I get married, or decide to, I will let the world know.” Does he intend to get married at all? “Of course, I intend to get married, but it will happen only when it’s destined to. And I will celebrate the occasion with my friends, family and well-wishers. I won’t hide my marriage because I need people’s blessings and good wishes always .”
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan on Friday met his greatest fans in Jaipur.
The joy of mentally and physically challenged children at a school in Jaipur knew no bounds when Salman came calling and spent the day with them.
"They are my greatest fans," Khan said after meeting the children of the Umaang School who sang popular numbers from his films and presented him with hand made greeting cards.
Salman also donated two television sets and some DVDs of his films to the school, which he has visited a few times before.
"I have interacted with some students and they said that they have just watched my movie 'Saajan'. Thus, I have brought two television sets and more DVDs of my films so that they can watch more of my movies," he said.
"I have seen that there are eight rooms in your school so every room needs a television and a DVD player," he said.
Salman also danced to some popular songs from his films with the children.
Speculations about Salman's marriage with Katrina Kaif also figured in the interaction when some children surprised Salman by requesting him to call them for his wedding.
Former Rajasthan tourism Minister and chairperson of the school Bina Kak also accompanied Salman.
There is always a stiff competition among the three heroes in Bollywood - Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan for the number one spot.
In 2011 Salman Khan has now raced his way to the top – not in films but in a different way. Salman has paid an advance income tax of five crore rupees and has therefore become the number one tax payer among Bollywood heroes.
It may well be fireworks in May next year, with Hrithik Roshan's 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' facing off against Salman Khan's 'Ready'. Though there were murmurs in the industry that Zindagi Na.... had decided to move away from the competition and arrive on a different day, film's producer Ritesh Sidhwani denied any such plans.
"Why would Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara not release on 27th May", said Ritesh, who was caught by surprise when asked about the change in plans for the film.
There is a small history behind the Hrithik Roshan and Salman Khan face-off. The release date of 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' had been announced a few weeks ago. Suddenly, it was announced that that the Salman starrer Ready too is releasing on the same day. The same day release will invetibly turn it into a Salman Hrithik clash.
Many in the industry have speculated if it was a wise decision after all for two big films like these to clash. An industry insider said, "Though Salman has made a late entry, there was no room for ego for anyone involved. Though Zindagi... was announced a few weeks ago but since May is quite far away, either of the films could at least contemplate an arrival on a different date."
Following this development, it was being rumoured that the producers of Zindagi Na... have postponed their film. This has been denied by Excel Entertainment's Ritesh Sidhwani, who is producing the film. He said, "We have not changed our date. We are definitely arriving as per the original plans."
'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara', a multi-starrer, which also stars Katrina Kaif, Farhan Akhtar and Abhay Deol, is now well into post production. On the other hand, 'Ready', a Salman Khan and Asin starrer, has still not completed its shooting schedule.
As per the latest news, Ranbir Kapoor starrer 'Rockstar' will also release on the same day.
Off-late Salman khan has been repeating the dialogue of his upcoming film Ready in response to the routine question of marriage posed to him. The dialogue being - "Mujhe toh nihayati khurrat plus kameeni aur honhar biwi chahiye (I want a street smart, vicious and efficient woman as my wife). And at the same time he has been taking pot shots at his former lover(s).
Recently he quipped - "All the kaminees (vicious women) I know are married." And your guess is as good as mine who he is referring to. And Salman's company seems to be rubbing off on his ex Katrina Kaif, too, who is fast becoming quip-quick. Kat's response to the list of qualifications that Salman needs in his wife (that is kaminee) is - "Well, that rules me out," Katrina smiled. That leaves Salman only with Somy Ali, his ex-flame with whom he has been spending lot of time, and she is his only ex who is still single.
But one thing is for sure. It is high time one must stop asking the hunk about his marriage, reason being that the unpredictable man has started calling them idiots. "Four years back one idiot asked me this question about my marriage after which everybody has been following that person like idiots," the brat was recently heard saying.
It’s not a secret that Bollywood handsome hero Salman Khan, who is known as ‘Bollywood bad boy’, has been romancing with Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif for a long time. Bollywood media is buzzing that now they were separated due to differences. This is where, Bollywood sex bomb Rakhi Sawanth has entered the scene. She has expected that her sensational realty show ‘Rakhi ka Swayamvar’ may flood her with Bollywood offers. But, it remains a dream for her and she is still striving for film offers.
Rakhi, who is aware of their separation, plans to utilise this opportunity wisely and takes Salman Khan’s side. In a recent press meet Rakhi Sawanth said, “I personally know Salman is a gentleman. When, Katrina Kaif enters the industry, Salman has helped her lot all the way to reach this present status. In the beginning, Katrina also made rounds around Salman Khan for film offers. But, when she reached top position, she now finds wrong with Salman khan and bid good bye to him. Is this fair for her? “
“This is not first or last time for Salman Khan. He has been cheated by several girls in the past. Earlier, there were number of girls who were very eager to hold his hands only to find their way into industry. Later, all those girls depart from him. Katrina despite knowing him for several years separates from him for unknown reasons. She also utilises his popularity and influence to climb the ladder and kicks it now. Frankly speaking Katrina Kaif is also an opportunist. Salman always remain generous with such persons. He has no complaints about anyone in the industry. I strongly believe that he is one of the best in Bollywood.”
Can she please and trap Salman Khan with her praising?
Salman Khan is happy after National Award win for 'Dabangg'!
Salman Khan and his family are happy over their home production Dabangg being honoured with a National Award for Best Popular Film.
The movie is one of the two Bollywood films to be feted at the 58th National Awards, announced on Thursday. The other film being Do Dooni Chaar, starring Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, which won the award for Best Film In Hindi Language.
Expressing his happiness over Dabangg’s National Award win, Salman said: “Before getting any award, people had seen Dabangg and liked the movie too. That was the first award we got. Now the government has also given us an award.”
The film was produced by Salman’s brother Arbaaz Khan and directed by Abhinav Kashyap.
Salman’s dad Salim Khan, who is an illustrious scriptwriter of many popular Hindi films, said the entire family is ecstatic by the news of National Award.
“The news about the honour has yet to sink in. We are thrilled by the national recognition,” Salim Khan said.
Arbaaz has already announced his decision to make Dabangg 2. He plans to direct the sequel himself.
When Aishwarya Rai got married to Abhishek Bachchan, there were speculations that actor Salman Khan just might marry his long-time girlfriend Katrina Kaif soon - implying that he couldn't get Aishwarya back anymore. Now that the actor has crossed 40, his family members are more than eager to watch him settle down.
Girlfriend Katrina Kaif's mom flew down from London recently and had a nice conversation with Salman Khan's family. This had only increased the rumors of a marriage that was soon going to happen. Now that Salman has finally got himself out of all the legal mess that he was involved in, he too is not rejecting the idea.
There is only one problem now. The actress is finally being recognized for her work. She is getting plenty of new film offers. You don't suppose that she wants to spoil it all by getting married now, do you?
Zayed Khan and his longtime girlfriend Mallika are making plans to get married some time this year. With Balaji Rao's 'Dus', Vashu Bhagnani's 'Vaada', PNC's 'Shabd', and Farah Khan's 'Main Hoon Na', the lad believes that he has enough on hand to settle down. Zayed Khan is also thrilled that Mallika has seen Main Hoon Na seven times now!!!...
Salman Khan may have won quite a few awards for his all time blockbuster film, DABANGG, including best actor, but the irrepressible super star is not interested in receiving awards or honours.
It may come as a surprise to many that Salman Khan, despite participating wholeheartedly in award functions and also accepting awards (unlike his good friend Aamir Khan) for films, has in no uncertain terms showed his disinterest in awards.
In a recent disclosure Salman Khan has stated that awards don't interest him at all and also adds that he does not even want any nominations for any of his films. In his characteristic witty sense of humour he went on to add that if any company or organization gets any mileage from his nomination then instead of doing that they should simply hand over a cheque to his Being Human foundation which would benefit the poor and the needy!
Well, awards or rewards, one thing is clear Salman Khan is indeed a good human being and it's the prayers of the needy that has helped Salman reach the top once again after being down and out!
No Kat please... Aamir is scared of acting with Sallu's ex-muse!
The famous dialogue ‘Thapad Se Dar Nahi Lagata…Pyar Se Lagata Hai…’ seems to have been restricted to ‘Dabangg’ Khan’s movie as in real life people who are close to him are scared of him. Even the person who has featured in the top 50 powerful personalities thinks about ‘Sallu Ka Gussa’. Yes, we are talking about Aamir Khan who wants to maintain safe distance from Salman’s ex-muse Katrina Kaif!
Aamir Khan is searching for an actress who can perform on an item number in ‘Delhi Belly’. When asked the actor whether Katrina will be his choice for the song, he said, “aap log mujhe joote khilvanewale hai (sic).” On probing further, the Khan laughed and added, “It’s not my decision but Abhinay (the director) will take the final call, I am not going to decide at all.”
Aamir didn’t meet Salman for quite sometime now but on reminding him of his previous comments on Salman’s marriage, Aamir again started laughing. When media persons told him about Salman’s comment that Aamir should be tied up so that he won’t marry third time, the actor said, “I agree to whatever Salman said as if one won’t tie me, I might get into third wedlock mera koi bharosa nahi hai." (sic)
Though Aamir replied in a funny manner there was some kind of alert in his statement, it seems that Mr. Perfectionist doesn’t want to lock horns with Sallu!
The media down here in South India is claiming that Salman Khan has already tied the knot with actress Asin Thottumkal a few days ago in the presence of close friends. The reports even suggest that Asin's parents, who were not informed about the marriage, rushed to the wedding and tried to stop it.
The Mid Day quoted the actress telling, “At last, the rumours are coming true. Salman and I are finally married. It's a first for both of us." Hold on to that readers! It is just a scene in the Anees Bazmees upcoming flick Ready. However, Salman has taken the rumours very sportingly and keeps joking about it. The report Mid Day claims that Salman has been shouting in an around Film City, telling that, “Hey guys, I've finally done it.”
The news of Asin's marriage has took over South India with rage. She started getting all congratulatory messages from her friends and near ones. The actress laughs and reveals to Mid Day, “You know, I'm quite enjoying the joke about my wedding. I've been in my bridal outfit taking the saat pheras, for a week now.”
Asin expressed that she enjoyed the marriage thoroughly, “ I've gone through Malayali, Tamil and Telugu marriages. But this is my first Punjabi wedding. And I love it. I even danced at my Sangeet to Laung Gawacha."
Both the actors have decided that they will get married in Punjabi style in real life too, "It's a pact. It will be a big fat Punjabi wedding."
Well! Salman guess your fan really want to see a real wedding now.
